Ouch. Thats what I am thinking about this so far. I began with chest, triceps, and calves on Saturday. No impressive weights or PRs but I am more sore than I have been in a long time. I assume this is because of the extended break I took. The mirror shows some loss, but the weight room shows a lot more. My weights, as I expected, were less but by quite a bit more than I thought they would be. My triceps are still sore today (Tuesday). I can't scratch the back of my head without cringing. I followed this up by deciding not to run on Sunday. I blame this on the load of work due that night for my masters degree, but I could have worked it in if the motivation would have been there. Monday was given to biceps, back, and core. The workout went well and I was able to handle much closer to the weight I was doing in August. all in all week one goes well, with the exception of the "setback" (read: lazy) on Sunday. Today is a running day, and it is pouring here and it's not supposed to let up while I'm awake. I will sub a weight day if the weather does not cooperate, which, even if it does, my trails will most likely be too wet.
I will post my workouts from the week tonight!
-Keep pushing yourself!
